Dualshock 4 x2
Hands on time with the Dualshock 4 controller.
The DS4 is made for gaming, it’s lightweight but still feels sturdy. The lightbar at the top helps to reflect the mood of the game, it pulsates when hit as well as changes color whenever a new player syncs a controller with a PS4.
The thumbsticks/joysticks are made different this time around. Your thumb actually fits into them so you have more control while playing a game. The L2 & R2 triggers are actual triggers now. So that’ll come in handy for people who play First Person Shooters.
One thing I did notice was that the touchpad in the center doubles as a button as well. I’m curious to see what that’ll be used for.
There are also the “Options” & “Share” buttons that replace the traditional start & select buttons. For the games I played Options, Share or the touchpad wasn’t needed so I have nothing to say about how well they work but I know SONY is onto something.
Novermber 15th is just around the corner. Have you preordered yet?

Grand Theft Auto V.
What more needs to be said about this game? It’s been out for 10 days, grossed $1 billion in sales within the first 72 hours of release. If you haven’t played it why are you still alive?
From the time you first insert the disc (when you hear the gunshots at the R* loading screen) until the time you turn it off the game will have you in a trance, fully immersed into the world of Los Santos.
Everything about this game has been finely tuned & taken to the extreme. Grand Theft Auto V is really it’s own world. Regardless of what part of the map you find yourself wandering in everything feels just as real as the real city of Los Angeles.
I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of the games true potential. It’s just crazy to think that 5 years ago Grand Theft Auto IV was released on the same generation of consoles but both games are on two completely different levels.
Tennis, golf, yoga, street races, biking, triathlons, strip clubs, smoking weed, robbing stores, pulling heists, evading police, etc… there’s something for everyone in this game. Whether you’re a casual gamer or an avid gamer GTAV is something everyone should experience.
I’m about 55 missions into the main storyline, almost done with it but i’m taking my time trying to knock out all the side missions & extra stuff. The game has truly been amazing so far. I’ve been off it for a few days so I can get my productivity back up. But I can’t wait to see how it ends. I hear there are multiple endings…
GTA Onliine starts this tuesday, everyone’s getting their crews together. You better join one!
